Tidjane Salaün is a strong prospect in French basketball. This small/power forward was trained in the Paris region, notably at Charenton club (7.6 points per game in U15 ELITE in 2019-2020), before joining Cholet Basket's youth academy.
There, he had a long rise to become one of the very best prospects of the 2005 generation. Not selected for the U17 World Cup in 2022, he broke out in 2022-2023 becoming one of the leaders of the Espoirs team. Subsequently, he participated in the U18 EuroBasket (fourth place) and Cholet Basket signed him to his first professional contract. Integrated into Laurent Vila's rotation, he established himself in the Cholet roster in 2023-2024 and has steadily risen in mock drafts for the 2024 NBA Draft.
A tall wing player, highly engaged on the court and fearless, he was notably MVP of the month of January in Betclic ELITE.
