There are many basketball championships in France and around the world. In France, the different basketball divisions are as follows:

Men's championships:

1. Betclic Elite (formerly Pro A), organized by the National Basketball League
2. Pro B, organized by the National Basketball League
3. NM1, NM2, NM3, ... organized by the French Basketball Federation

Women's championships:

1. LFB (renamed "La Boulangère Wonderligue"), organized by the Women's Basketball League
2. LF2, organized by the French Basketball Federation
3. NF1, NF2, and NF3 organized by the French Basketball Federation

European Basketball Cups

1. The Euroleague (and the Eurocup), organized by the ECA ("Euroleague Commercial Assets")
2. The Basketball Champions League (and the Fiba Europe Cup), organized by FIBA
