Olympiacos is active in the transfer market, particularly regarding Greek players.

Giannoulīs Larentzakīs is set to sign a three-year deal with AEK Athens, as previously reported last week. The reigning European champions are targeting the return of George Papas to replace Larentzakis; negotiations are in the final stages, with a two-year contract on the table.

In a surprise move, Bryant Dunston is currently training with Olympiacos. The Greek club is very pleased with his attitude and is prepared to offer him a month-to-month contract with an option to renew.

Bryant Dunston is an American center who has built an impressive career in European basketball. After playing college basketball at Fordham, he began his professional career in the NBA G League before moving to Europe in 2010.

Dunston established himself as one of the best defensive big men in the EuroLeague during his years with Varese, Brocēni, Aris, and especially Olympiacos. In 2013, he joined Brose Bamberg, where he quickly became a dominant presence on both ends of the court.

He spent eight successful seasons with Anadolu Efes, from 2015 to 2023, winning two EuroLeague titles (2021 and 2022) and becoming one of the club’s most important players. He was also named to the All-EuroLeague Defensive Team multiple times.

In 2023, Dunston joined Virtus Bologna, continuing his career in Italy and bringing his experience, physicality and defensive leadership to the team. Known for his shot-blocking, rebounding and toughness, Dunston has become one of the most respected American big men in modern European basketball.
