The son of Karim Atamna and former super-scorer from La Ravoire-Challes, Adam Atamna led the U17 team of ASVEL in 2023/2024 to the French U17 Cup final. This season, he mainly plays in the Espoirs league (13.2 points with 42.1% shooting accuracy, 4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 23 minutes). A member of the French U16 national team in summer 2023, Adam is one of the best shooters of the new generation. On May 18, 2024, he was pre-selected by the FFBB for the U17 World Cup taking place from June 29 to July 7 in Turkey.
