A 2.03m forward, Jonas Boulefaa started basketball with BC Layrac Astaffort before joining the Pole France. During the 2023/2024 season, he distinguished himself as the team's second-best scorer behind Nolan Traore, averaging 10.9 points per game. In April 2024, Jonas Boulefaa also participated in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament (ANGT) and reached the final where he performed impressively (29 points on 6/8 three-point shooting) despite Pole France's loss to Paris. On May 18, 2024, he was pre-selected by the FFBB for the U17 World Cup taking place from June 29 to July 7 in Turkey.
