Player Profile

T.J. Shorts is an American-North Macedonian point guard. Barely noticed in high school to the point of not receiving a full college scholarship, he spent two years in Junior College before joining UC Davis in NCAA.

After two seasons with the Aggies, he began his professional career in Ventspils, Latvia, in 2019. Then, he settled in the German championship from 2020, moving from Hamburg to Crailsheim and to Bonn where he exploded. Small but elusive, he dominated in 2022-2023, averaging 19.1 points with 49.6% shooting (including 36.6% from 3-point range on 3.7 attempts per game), 3.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists in 29 minutes.

Winner of the BCL and BBL playoffs finalist, he followed his coach Tuomas Iisalo to Paris Basketball where he shined just as much: winning the EuroCup and Leaders Cup, finalist in Betclic ELITE playoffs, MVP of EuroCup, Leaders Cup and Betclic ELITE. This earned him a spot in EuroLeague, still with Paris.
