The Phoenix Suns delivered a spectacular offensive display, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 129-114 on Tuesday night. With three players scoring over 20 points and a season record for three-pointers, Phoenix dominated in the final quarter to secure their fifth win in six games.

A three-point festival makes the difference

The key to the Suns’ success lies in their exceptional long-range shooting. The Arizona team set a season record with 24 three-pointers made on 51 attempts, with an overall shooting percentage of 53.9%. On the other side, Milwaukee also posted good statistics with 51.2% shooting and 16 three-pointers on 38 attempts, but it wasn’t enough.

Devin Booker led the Suns’ attack with 27 points, well supported by Jalen Green (25 points) and Royce O’Neale (21 points). The latter scored the decisive basket with a buzzer-beater from about 50 feet to close out the third quarter and give Phoenix a definitive advantage.

Milwaukee falls despite efforts from Kuzma and Antetokounmpo

On the Bucks side, Kyle Kuzma had his best performance of the season with 33 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner each added 22 points. Ousmane Dieng contributed well with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Despite these individual contributions, Milwaukee couldn’t contain the opposing offense in crucial moments.

This defeat comes during a difficult period for the Bucks, who have lost six of their last seven games and just completed a stretch of 3 wins and 7 losses including nine home games. The crowded injury list with absences of Kevin Porter Jr., Bobby Portis and Jericho Sims doesn’t help matters.

With this victory, Phoenix moves within one game of Denver for sixth place in the Western Conference, while Milwaukee continues to fall in the standings. Both teams return to action Thursday, with the Suns traveling to Indiana and the Bucks to Miami.
