When Adam Flagler received only one Division I college scholarship offer, few would have bet on his NBA future. Yet this point guard from Duluth, Georgia, turned every obstacle into a stepping stone toward his ambitions.

After setting his high school records with 1,300 points and 227 three-pointers, Flagler joined Presbyterian College, where he exploded in his first season with a 15.9 points per game average, setting a new freshman scoring record in the program's Division I history. This standout performance opened the doors to Baylor University, a college basketball powerhouse.

The transfer required him to sit out a season, but Flagler used that opportunity to sharpen his game alongside future NBA players. His patience paid off: he became a valuable sixth man in Baylor's run to its first NCAA championship in program history in 2021, the crowning moment of a remarkable progression.

Coming from an athletic family where his brother DuVaughn played college football before becoming an elementary school principal, and where Alex also played college basketball, Adam draws from that environment the determination that defines him. Going undrafted in the NBA Draft, he refused to give up and ultimately landed a contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder organization.
