Paris Basketball made a statement at home. In a tightly contested Game 1 of the Betclic Elite Finals, the Parisians held off Monaco 95-91 to take the early advantage in the series. The game never felt fully safe for either side, but Paris ultimately had enough firepower to close it out.
Hifi and Robinson lead Paris to victory
The standout performer on the winning side was Nadir Hifi. In just under 20 minutes on the floor, the French guard poured in 23 points, making him the most efficient player of the night. His ability to produce at such a high level in limited time gave Paris a crucial edge throughout the contest.
Justin Robinson was equally important. The American guard finished with 17 points and 3 assists in 21 minutes, providing steady leadership and consistent scoring. His presence in the backcourt helped Paris control the rhythm of the game during key stretches.
Lamar Stevens contributed a well-rounded 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Daulton Hommes added 12 points and 4 rebounds off the wing. The depth and balance of Paris’s roster proved to be a decisive factor in a game that could have gone either way.

Monaco fights hard but falls short
Monaco was far from passive. Alpha Diallo was outstanding for the Monegasques, finishing with 21 points and 8 rebounds in 29 minutes. He was the leading scorer of the game overall, but his effort wasn’t enough to secure the win on the road.
Elie Okobo also had a strong outing, contributing 20 points and 5 assists in nearly 33 minutes. Jaron Blossomgame added 18 points and 3 rebounds to round out a productive trio for Monaco. The Roca Team generated enough offense to stay in the game until the final buzzer, making this a genuine four-point thriller rather than a comfortable Paris win.
With Game 1 now in the books, Paris Basketball holds home-court advantage and the early lead in the series. Monaco will need to regroup and find answers for Paris’s backcourt depth if they hope to bounce back in Game 2.
