Panathinaikos Athens is trying to buy Nigel Williams-Goss from Zalgiris Kaunas.
The former Olympiacos player is a target of the club coached by Zeljko Obradovic. Nigel Williams-Goss is under contract with Zalgiris, but Panathinaikos is making a strong push to acquire the player.
As Urbonas anticipated, Panathinaikos is negotiating with the player. As reported to BeBasket, PAO is offering nearly double the player’s contract to force an exit from Zalgiris Kaunas.
Negotiations are ongoing; we’ll see if the parties reach an agreement now.
