With 18 points on 6/12 shooting, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and only 2 turnovers for a 21 efficiency rating in 27 minutes, the American point guard was logically rewarded with the competition’s MVP title.

Already decisive as a playmaker the day before (8 assists in 21 minutes against Boulazac despite poor shooting, 6 points on 2/9), James showed he was embracing his leadership role. As a strong sign, he lifted the trophy alongside Alpha Diallo. Extended until 2027, he seems to have found his peace of mind again and is already focused on a full season with the goal of bringing multiple titles to the Principality.
