The Miami Heat continue their exceptional run by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 112-105 Thursday night, marking a seventh consecutive victory that represents their best streak of the season. This performance allows the Floridians to consolidate their position in the Eastern Conference.

Pelle Larsson dazzling, Bam Adebayo decisive in crunch time

The evening was marked by the exceptional performance of Pelle Larsson, who established a new career high with 28 points. The guard was particularly clutch late in the game, controlling a crucial defensive rebound before drilling a decisive 3-pointer with 28 seconds remaining, giving Miami a six-point lead and practically sealing the victory.

Bam Adebayo also played a determining role with 21 points total, including 12 scored in the fourth quarter. The Heat’s center raised his level of play when his team needed it most. Kasparas Jakučionis contributed with 18 points, while Davion Mitchell added 13 points and Kel’el Ware dominated on the boards with 13 rebounds.

On Milwaukee’s side, Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 31 points, supported by Bobby Portis Jr. (19 points) and Ryan Rollins, who recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists. The Greek Freak had the opportunity to tie the game with 52 seconds remaining with a wide-open 3-pointer from the top of the key, but his shot hit the rim.

Miami climbs in the standings despite absences

This victory allows the Heat to remain in 6th place in the Eastern Conference, just a few percentage points behind the Orlando Magic, who are 5th and also on a six-game winning streak. The two teams will face each other Saturday night in a crucial matchup for the standings.

Miami achieved this feat despite the absence of several key players: Norman Powell (groin), Andrew Wiggins (toe), Tyler Herro (quadriceps) and Nikola Jovic (back). Conversely, the Bucks had no injuries for the first time since the opening game, although Ousmane Dieng had to leave the game early due to illness.

« We’ve had the starting five we planned for at the beginning of the season only once, and it was for five minutes… It’s just one of those years. I still would have liked us to get through it. At this point, we simply couldn’t and that’s difficult, » declared Bucks coach Doc Rivers. Milwaukee has now lost seven of their last eight games.
