Jito Kok moves from SCABB to HTV

Not retained by SCABB after his very first season in France, Jito Kok (2.06 m, 31 years old) extends his stay in Pro B / ELITE 2 by joining Hyères-Toulon Var Basket (HTV) for one season.

In Loire, the Dutch international, who didn’t miss any games, averaged 8.1 points with 55% shooting accuracy and 4.1 rebounds for a 9.1 evaluation in 22 minutes of play. In Le Progrès, his coach Maxime Nelaton praised his athletic center: « He’s one of the great finds of the summer both as a person and as a basketball player. He’s a straight shooter. And he’s always smiling. »

Before settling in France, the Wageningen native had stints in the United States (University of San Diego in NCAA I), Greece (Lavrio), Estonia (Rapla), Spain (Valladolid), Netherlands (Dordrecht and Den Bosch), Belgium (Mechelen and Charleroi) and Germany (Göttingen).
