A career marked by consistency
Coming through Cholet’s youth academy, Ndoye climbed the ranks step by step before breaking out in the 2019-2020 season with averages of 10.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4 assists. After a stint at Monaco crowned with an EuroCup title, this shooting guard/small forward returned home, first to BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque then to MSB. In Sarthe, he established himself as a reliable player, capable of performing in both Betclic ELITE and BCL.
Last season, he still averaged 6.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists, confirming his complete and consistent profile.
A versatile and competitive player
Recruited for his versatility and intensity, Ndoye will also bring his experience to SIG Strasbourg’s young squad, as well as his high-level defense. « Abdoulaye is very intense, competitive and has a good mindset. He can attack, defend, play off the ball… He will bring us a lot of energy and versatility, » explained his new coach Jānis Gailītis.
Sports Director Nicola Alberani echoes these sentiments: « The arrival of a player of Abdoulaye’s caliber demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a competitive and determined team. His profile will be valuable to us in several aspects of the game. »
A confident choice
For his part, Ndoye says he was attracted by the Alsatian project: « I’m very happy to be here. SIG was a club I had in mind if I stayed in France. I had an excellent feeling with the coach and I can’t wait to start this new season. »
With this 11th professional player, SIG Strasbourg further displays its ambitions before the start of the 2025-2026 season. For his first game with the Alsatian team, Ndoye will return to Cholet this Saturday, September 27.
