As NBA preseason approaches, Process Corporation unveils its presentation videos of new French players expected in the big league. The first focus is on Noa Essengue (6’9″, 18 years old), selected 12th overall by the Chicago Bulls, the highest French draft pick of the 2025 class and the second-youngest player chosen this year.

An athletic and defensive profile

In its video, Process Corporation emphasizes Noa Essengue’s « perfect NBA body type ». Mobile, with good hands and already solid defensively, the forward (position 3/4 or 4/3) knows how to cut at the right moment, run the floor and finish with power, even in complicated situations.

Still room for improvement in shooting

The only real question mark remains his outside shooting. With only 27% success rate from long range last season, Essengue must absolutely improve in this area. As Process Corporation points out, « he will need to multiply this figure to exist in the NBA ».

A raw diamond for Chicago

Originally from Orleans, having gone through the France National Training Center before playing in Ulm, Germany, Noa Essengue arrives in Chicago as a raw diamond to be polished. The Bulls are counting on his activity on both ends of the floor to take a step forward, and dream of a player capable of establishing himself long-term in the NBA if his shot develops.
