The Toronto Raptors dominated the Indiana Pacers 122-104 on Sunday, powered by an exceptional performance from Scottie Barnes. The All-Star forward compiled 25 points on 12/20 shooting, 14 rebounds and 6 assists in 33 minutes, confirming his status as the Canadian team’s leader.
This victory gives the Raptors their second consecutive win and a positive record of 32 wins and 22 losses. RJ Barrett provided valuable support with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, while Sandro Mamukelashvili added 17 points off the bench.

A decisive third quarter led by Barnes
Trayce Jackson-Davis had a solid debut in his new colors with 10 points and 10 rebounds in just 15 minutes, following his arrival from Golden State. His contribution proved valuable after the premature exit of rookie Collin Murray-Boyles, who was forced to leave due to a left thumb sprain.
Concern over Johnny Furphy’s injury
The game was marked by a disturbing injury to Australian Johnny Furphy. The 21-year-old player injured his right knee on a landing after a dunk late in the third quarter. Furphy immediately grabbed his knee and left the court in a wheelchair.
« We’re not sure about Furphy’s situation, » Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said after the game. « He’ll have tests tomorrow in New York and we’ll see where we stand. We’re hoping it’s not that serious but we don’t know at this time. »
My god man. Praying for Furphy… Absolutely gut wrenching. pic.twitter.com/QGdniOyaEe

For the Pacers, Pascal Siakam led the offense with 18 points, followed by Jay Huff (15 points) and Jarace Walker (13 points). But this fourth consecutive loss further sinks Indiana, the bottom team in the Eastern Conference with a disastrous record of 13 wins and 40 losses. The Raptors will face Detroit on Wednesday, while the Pacers will travel to New York on Tuesday.
