Panathinaikos Athens is very, very close to acquire Isaac Bonga from Partizan Belgrade.
The German winger is set to leave Belgrade for Athens.
Panathinaikos put on the table a big three-year, €10 million contract with NBA escape for this and next year.
Panathinaikos is very close to beat the competition, including Real Madrid, Olympiacos, and Barcelona.
The deal could close very soon, with the two parties currently ironing out the details.
Isaac Bonga enjoyed an outstanding 2025–26 season with Partizan Belgrade, establishing himself as one of the team’s most reliable two-way players. The German forward played a key role with his defensive versatility, rebounding, and improved offensive production, averaging around 10 points and over 5 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague. His energy, athleticism, and ability to guard multiple positions made him a crucial piece for Partizan throughout the season, while his consistent performances further strengthened his status as an important member of the German national team.
