Enovos League Day 3 recap: Blake Jones' monster game, Soleuvre's road upset, and Sparta's domination of Etzella

Jones put on a show nobody in the league could match, going 15-of-23 from the field and never leaving the floor across 40 minutes in Kordall's 89-71 road loss to Racing Luxembourg.

The numbers were gaudy enough to hand him a league-best PIR of 40.00 for the day. But his plus-minus of -18 gave up the real story: Racing ran the show behind Antunio Bivins, who torched the Steelers for 28 points and a 31 PIR, with the hosts pulling away in the first and third quarters (27-15, 27-22) to lock in Kordall's third straight loss and drop them to 0-3.
Soleuvre survives its own turnovers, Sparta buries Etzella on the glass
The round's biggest shocker went down in Hueschtert, where AS Soleuvre stunned the home crowd 105-94 despite coughing the ball up a staggering 28 times. A 32-point first quarter set the tone early, and Soleuvre's bullying 51-32 edge on the boards made sure Gréngewald never cashed in on all those giveaways. Gerald Drumgoole Jr. paced the winners with 28 points and 7 assists, while Alvin Tumblin Jr. put up a valiant 33 points in a losing cause for Gréngewald.

Sparta Bertrange delivered the day's most lopsided beatdown, taking down Etzella Ettelbruck 77-56 even though neither team could find the bottom of the net — Sparta shot just 23-of-67, Etzella an equally ugly 22-of-66. The game was decided on the glass, where Sparta dominated 57-32, and in a disastrous third quarter where Etzella managed all of 4 points. A.J. John Jr. and Jarvis Williams both stuffed the stat sheet with double-doubles on the boards to seal it.
A crowded middle of the table after three games
Elsewhere, Amicale Steesel led only 31-29 at the break before flipping the switch, scoring 30 points in each of the final two quarters to run away with a 91-61 win fueled by Conley Phipps III's 34 points. T71 Dudelange took down Résidence Walferdange 96-83 behind the combined punch of Jimmie Taylor III and Dom Sleva, who poured in 53 points between them. Musel Pikes edged Arantia Larochette 87-84 in a tightly contested battle, dishing 26 assists on 34 made field goals, with Julian Hammond III leading the way with 24 points. Racing Luxembourg's win over Kordall rounded out the slate.
Three games into the 2026-2027 season, the standings are jammed at the top: seven teams — Amicale Steesel, Arantia Larochette, Basket Esch, Etzella Ettelbruck, Musel Pikes, Racing Luxembourg and Sparta Bertrange — all sit at 2-1. Four clubs linger at 1-2: AS Soleuvre, Gréngewald Hueschtert, Résidence Walferdange and T71 Dudelange. Kordall Steelers stands alone at the bottom at 0-3, Blake Jones' heroics notwithstanding. Day 4 should start to tell us whether the Enovos League's crowded middle class is ready to sort itself out.
