Major ELITE 2 player participates in Paris Basketball preseason

Last March, Michael Oguine (1.88m, 28 years old) surprised Chorale de Roanne by asking to leave the club to experience the Polish first division. In six games with Gliwice, he immediately shined offensively, averaging 18.3 points with 49.4% shooting accuracy, 3.3 rebounds and 3 assists in less than 30 minutes per game.
From Pro B to Poland
Having arrived in France in 2020, Oguine had multiple experiences in the second tier: Souffelweyersheim, Saint-Chamond, Denain then Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Roanne. With his energy and driving ability, the Californian had established himself as a reference in the division. But last March, his decision to leave Roanne mid-season surprised the Loire management. « We were disappointed and surprised by this departure request, but given his exemplary commitment, we accepted it, » explained General Manager Bertrand Rodamel in Le Progrès.
A Parisian interlude while waiting for better
Now a free agent, Michael Oguine is preparing for the next step in his career by training with Paris Basketball. For now, no offer for the 2025-2026 season has suited the American-Nigerian, and this opportunity allows him to maintain the rhythm of a Betclic ELITE and EuroLeague roster. An ideal springboard to quickly find a new team, whether in France or elsewhere in Europe.
