Anthony Black threw down a monumental poster over four Grizzlies defenders. The young Magic point guard delivered one of the most spectacular plays of the NBA season during the game held in Berlin.

A play that symbolizes the meteoric rise of the sixth pick in the 2023 Draft
The play went viral on social media and could well be elected dunk of the year. During the NBA game held in Berlin between the Orlando Magic and the Memphis Grizzlies, Anthony Black delivered an absolutely monstrous poster on a fast break, dunking through four opposing defenders in crunch time, with both teams tied at 107-107.
The 21-year-old point guard couldn’t believe it himself when he saw the footage of his feat after the game. « I hadn’t jumped that high since I was at Duncanville (high school) », said Anthony Black. « I didn’t realize there were that many people around me. I thought I was all alone. »

This exceptional play, along with his 26 points and 7 assists in the 118-111 victory over Memphis, perfectly illustrates Anthony Black‘s spectacular improvement this season. The Magic coaching staff had already highlighted that this performance could make the player a serious candidate for Most Improved Player.
Selected sixth overall in the 2023 Draft, Black is taking full advantage of injuries to Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs to establish himself as an undisputed starter. Over the last twenty games, the former Arkansas player is averaging impressive numbers of 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal, with remarkable shooting percentages of 46% overall and 37% from 3-point range.
This surge comes at the perfect time for Orlando, currently sixth in the East with a record of 23 wins and 18 losses. The Magic, who are aiming high this season, can now count on a confident Anthony Black, capable of delivering memorable performances like this historic dunk that will be forever remembered.
