Having come through Bourg-en-Bresse’s youth academy, Anatole Humeau finished the 2024-2025 season in style. Already MVP of the Future Trophy in 2024, he repeated the feat in 2025, leading JL Bourg Espoirs to a second consecutive title in the competition, on home court no less.
In ELITE Espoirs, he averaged 12.6 points, 6 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 24 games. A true all-around player, even capable of recording triple-doubles, a rarity at this level. During the Future Trophy, he stepped up his game: averaging 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists over the three decisive matches.
To launch his professional career, Anatole Humeau has chosen to join SCABB, an ambitious organization that will allow him to play both in ELITE 2 under Guillaume Quintard and in NM1 under Marc Berjoan. An ideal environment to continue developing, with a progressive role across two competitive levels.
The Saint-Chamond/Andrézieux club, well-established in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, is betting on Humeau’s complete profile and versatility, as he can play both point guard and shooting guard positions.
