Arthur Puybertier
Against Finland in their second pool game at EuroBasket U16, the French team dominated (96-55) thanks to another outstanding performance from Nathan Soliman (6’7″, 16 years old). The Pole France wing was unstoppable under the basket and in transition, finishing with 21 points on 7/10 shooting and 9 rebounds in just 23 minutes.
Already impressive the day before against Switzerland, Nathan Soliman confirmed he was one of the French team’s offensive leaders. Thanks to his fluidity with the ball, his change of pace and his constant activity on the boards, he gave the Finnish defense fits. His performance allowed France to pull away in the third quarter, before finishing the job in the fourth.
Coach Nicolas Absalon’s players continue their perfect run in this competition start, before facing Slovenia this Sunday for first place in Group B.
