SLUC Nancy is active in the market! After the arrival of Kevin Marsillon-Noléo and the return of Enzo Goudou-Sinha, the Nancy team announced in a press release the signing of Aundre Hyatt (1.98 m, 24 years old), an American power forward from Mechelen (Belgium), where he was named to the BNXT League’s All-Star Five in his first professional season.

Described as « an athletic power forward capable of shooting with great efficiency from behind the arc » by his future coach Sylvain Lautié, Aundre Hyatt completed his college career between LSU and Rutgers in NCAA, before starting his European career in Belgium. There, his physical and technical qualities allowed him to dominate: he averaged 16.6 points with 47.1% shooting including 44% from 3-point range, 5.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 30 minutes per game, for a 16.3 efficiency rating. These consistent performances earned him a spot in last season’s BNXT League All-Star Five.

A strong offensive player, Aundre Hyatt is also a team player who fits perfectly into Coach Lautié’s system.

« His physical presence also allows him, depending on the situation, to defend against perimeter positions, particularly at the 3 spot, which fully aligns with our roster construction logic. We’re building a team focusing on versatile profiles: players capable of covering multiple positions – 5/4, 4/3, 3/2 etc… to adapt to high-level demands. »

Board member Laurent Eisenbach praised the player’s mindset, « Very motivated to join us, he wants to build on his successful first experience in a more competitive championship. »

His multiple qualities, especially in scoring, will be welcome for Nancy, who will lose Clément Frisch in the same position, who is leaving for Vitoria, in addition to their power forward Zacharie Perrin.
