The San Antonio Spurs announced Tuesday, June 24 their new partnership with Ledger, a Paris-based French company specializing in digital asset security. Founded ten years ago, Ledger has established itself as a global leader in cryptocurrency security, protecting over 20% of global crypto assets for millions of users. « Partnering with a historic American sports franchise that has long-standing ties with France will allow us to shape the next generation of independent owners, » said Pascal Gauthier, President of Ledger.
A natural connection strengthened by Victor Wembanyama

For 40 years, the Spurs have welcomed seven French players, from Tony Parker and Boris Diaw to Victor Wembanyama, drafted in 2023. The franchise also played two games in Paris last season, demonstrating its popularity in France.
« This moment cements a decade of international development and collaborations undertaken by the Spurs to make basketball touch all cultures and continents, » explained R.C. According to Pascal Gauthier, « the Spurs are the future of the NBA and their fan community is evolving very quickly, but it’s also the most international franchise in the NBA« .
The first jersey featuring the Ledger logo will be unveiled this Wednesday during the 2025 Draft, where the Spurs hold the 2nd and 14th picks. These new jerseys will debut on the court during the California Classic Summer League on July 5, before officially outfitting the players of San Antonio and their G League affiliate Austin Spurs.
