Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 17 points and two 4-point plays in his second game back from a right knee injury. The Golden State Warriors dominated the Sacramento Kings 110-105 on Tuesday night in San Francisco, despite strong performances from the French players.
A Strong Return for the Warriors’ Superstar
Curry was relentless. He tied the game at 104 with a 3-pointer with 2:38 remaining, then found Brandin Podziemski for a decisive 3-pointer on the next possession. He finished the game shooting 5 of 12, including a 4-point play with 3:58 left in the second quarter and another with 2:39 before halftime that gave the Warriors a 60-44 lead.

Entering the game to cheers at 6:24 of the first quarter, Curry immediately delivered an assist to Charles Bassey on offense before blocking a shot on defense moments later. He could return to the starting lineup Thursday against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers after these two solid outings.
Notable Performances on Both Sides
For Sacramento, French rookie Maxime Raynaud shone on his 23rd birthday with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Killian Hayes added 18 points off the bench, but could not prevent the Kings from suffering their sixth loss in eight games.
For Golden State, De’Anthony Melton led the offense with 21 points while Podziemski contributed 20 points. The Warriors used their 40th different starting lineup of the season after Will Richard was ruled out with a back injury, replaced by Pat Spencer in the starting five.
On Sunday, in a 117-116 loss to Houston, Curry dazzled late in the game with 29 points on 11-of-21 shooting in 26 minutes, his first appearance since January 30 against Detroit. The Warriors are virtually assured of the 10th seed in the Western Conference for next week’s play-in tournament.
