Player Profile
Few players can claim to have taken a punch before a game and then contributed to a victory that same night. Drew Eubanks did just that in February 2024, when Isaiah Stewart hit him in the hallway before the game — an incident that perfectly illustrates the resilience that defines his career.
Originally from Mississippi but raised in Oregon from the age of two, Eubanks built his reputation at Oregon State University between 2015 and 2018. A versatile big man known for his defensive skills and shot-blocking ability, he made the bold decision to leave college before his senior year to pursue an NBA career. The gamble seemed to have failed when no franchise selected him in the 2018 draft.
But Eubanks turned that disappointment into an opportunity. Spotted by the San Antonio Spurs during Summer League, he earned a two-way contract that launched his professional journey. Since then, the big man has carved out a place in the league, playing successively for San Antonio, Portland, Phoenix, Utah, and now the Los Angeles Clippers in 2025.
His versatility between center and power forward, combined with his steady improvement on defense and shot-blocking, has allowed him to build a solid NBA career despite his initial undrafted status. Married to Hailey White in August 2022, Eubanks embodies the perseverance of a player who has turned every obstacle into a stepping stone toward professional success.
