The New York Knicks won a thrilling game against the Atlanta Hawks 108-105, in a matchup defined by a dramatic finish. CJ McCollum’s half-court buzzer-beater was ultimately overturned after video review.
A Spectacular Finish That Goes the Knicks’ Way
Jalen Brunson hit two clutch free throws with 1.2 seconds left to give the Knicks a three-point lead. On the ensuing inbound, McCollum caught the ball near the free-throw line, took two dribbles, and launched a shot from half-court that went in off the backboard. However, slow-motion replay showed the ball was still in his hands when regulation time expired.
This loss ends an impressive streak for Atlanta, who had not lost at home since early February and had won 13 consecutive games in their arena.
