Jaylen Brown put together a standout night in San Francisco, notching his third triple-double of the season with 23 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists. The Celtics forward orchestrated Boston’s 121–110 win over the Warriors, who were without Stephen Curry as he continues to deal with a knee injury.
This performance marks a new milestone in Brown’s career, tying his personal rebounding record (15, all defensive) and setting a new career-high in assists (13). It’s his fifth career triple-double, confirming his status as the Celtics’ offensive leader.
A well-oiled Boston collective
Brown didn’t carry this victory alone. Payton Pritchard contributed 26 points off the bench, including six made 3-pointers, while Sam Hauser added 16 points with remarkable long-range efficiency (4/5). Derrick White completed the collective effort with 10 points and 8 assists.
The Celtics took control of the game from the second quarter, unleashing a punishing 17-2 run to start the period and build their lead. By halftime, Boston already led 74-51, taking advantage of Curry’s absence to impose their pace and athletic superiority.

« Those guys helped us win a championship in 2024, so no better way than to respect them than giving them the belt tonight. »

Golden State powerless without their leader
The Warriors paid dearly for the absence of their point guard Stephen Curry, injured with a knee issue and whose return will be re-evaluated in ten days. This season, Golden State has a disappointing record of 6 wins and 11 losses without their two-time MVP.
De’Anthony Melton (18 points) and Gui Santos (17 points on 5/9 from 3-point range) tried to keep the Warriors afloat, but without success. Draymond Green had a nightmarish scoring night, finishing with 0 points on 0/7 shooting. Even Kristaps Porzingis‘s debut in a Warriors uniform (12 points) wasn’t enough to trouble the confident Celtics.
This seventh win in eight games confirms the Celtics’ excellent form, who will continue their California road trip on Sunday against the Lakers in Los Angeles.
