James Harden leads Cavaliers to sixth consecutive victory

The Cleveland Cavaliers delivered a dominant performance against the Brooklyn Nets, winning 112-84 to extend their winning streak to six consecutive games. James Harden (16 points, 9 assists) and Donovan Mitchell (17 points) orchestrated an offensive masterclass from the opening tip.
A hot start to take control
Cleveland took command from the opening minutes with a blistering 14-3 start. The defining moment came on a spectacular alley-oop from Harden to Mitchell, definitively sealing the outcome of this contest. « I’m not sure I’ve seen that in the league, » declared coach Kenny Atkinson after the game.
Harden made his first six shots, including three 3-pointers, demonstrating complete control of the Cavaliers’ offense. Mitchell, for his part, posted a +37 differential, confirming his status as leader of this team despite the arrival of the bearded star.

Mobley’s winning return and Allen’s explosion
Evan Mobley made his return after missing seven games due to a left calf injury. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year contributed 10 points and 9 rebounds in 18 minutes, quickly regaining his chemistry with Harden on pick-and-rolls.
Jarrett Allen dominated the paint with 15 points in 24 minutes, earning 10 free throws through his constant aggression. The Cavaliers now boast a 17-2 record when Allen scores at least 15 points, highlighting his importance in Cleveland’s offensive system.
The lead reached 43 points late in the third quarter (102-59), allowing Atkinson to rest his starters for the final 12 minutes. Brooklyn, led by Michael Porter Jr.‘s 14 points, is going through a difficult stretch with only 5 wins in 25 games since December 29.
This collective performance confirms Harden’s excellent integration, as he has now recorded at least 7 assists in each of his four games in a Cavaliers uniform. Cleveland travels to Charlotte Friday night to attempt to extend their winning streak to seven consecutive victories.
