A Greek collective demonstration
Beyond Antetokounmpo’s individual performance, Greece delivered a true team demonstration. The Hellenic team excelled from long range with a remarkable 14/25 from 3-point range (56% success rate) and moved the ball well with 28 assists. This offensive fluidity contrasted with Georgian struggles, limited to 30% shooting and only 4/22 from 3-point range (18%).

Alexander Mamukelashvili tried to keep Georgia in the game with 14 points, but the gap widened to 17 points at halftime and continued to grow afterward. Greece now awaits results from other matches to know their fate: a victory by Cyprus against Spain or Italy against Bosnia and Herzegovina would guarantee them a place in the round of 16 in Riga.
The next challenge will see Greece face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday to try to complete a perfect 4-0 run, while Georgia will challenge the Cypriot hosts hoping to reach a 2-2 record.
