EuroBasket 2025 semi-finals schedule

The EuroBasket 2025 semi-final matchups are now set. On Friday September 12, four teams will battle in Riga to secure their spot in the final of this 42nd European championship.

Germany withstands Doncic, Finland makes history
The world champions Germans secured their ticket to the final four by defeating Slovenia 99-91, despite another stellar performance from Luka Doncic who scored 39 points. This victory allows Germany to continue their pursuit of a potential World Cup – EuroBasket double.
Finland created a sensation by qualifying for their very first EuroBasket semi-final. The Finns dominated Georgia 93-79, making history for their country’s basketball. This historic performance makes Finland the big surprise of this 2025 edition.
Antetokounmpo and Sengun carry their teams
Greece ended a 16-year wait by returning to the European final four. Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s 29 points, the Greeks defeated Lithuania 87-76 to secure their semi-final spot.
Turkey completes the lineup by reaching the semi-finals for the first time since 2001. The Turks dominated Poland 91-77 thanks to a triple-double from Alperen Sengun, who tallied 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Friday’s schedule is as follows: Germany – Finland at 5pm local time (4pm CET), followed by the clash between Greece–Turkey at 9pm local time (8pm CET). These matches will determine the two finalists of this EuroBasket 2025 co-hosted by Cyprus, Finland, Latvia and Poland.
