Brice Sensabaugh delivers victory for Jazz against Heat

The Utah Jazz secured a valuable 115-111 victory over the Miami Heat on Monday night in Miami, thanks in large part to a clutch 3-pointer by Brice Sensabaugh in the final seconds. This fifth win in 23 games provides some hope for a franchise struggling this season.

Down 108-103 with 3 minutes and 32 seconds remaining, the Jazz players showed tremendous mental strength to turn the situation around. Isaiah Collier first cut the deficit to one point (111-110) with a basket at 1 minute and 23 seconds remaining, before Brice Sensabaugh delivered the knockout blow with his 3-pointer at 47 seconds from the final buzzer.

The Heat had two opportunities to tie or retake the lead in the final moments. Andrew Wiggins missed a short shot with 36 seconds remaining, then Kasparas Jakucionis saw his 3-point attempt from the corner bounce off the rim with 4 seconds left on the clock. Sensabaugh definitively sealed the game’s outcome with two free throws at 3 seconds remaining.

Encouraging collective performances for Utah

Jaren Jackson Jr.. led the Jazz offense with 22 points, well supported by Lauri Markkanen (17 points) and Kyle Filipowski, who recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ace Bailey also contributed with 16 points, while Sensabaugh finished with 14 crucial points.
