Bastien Vautier (6’11 », 26 years old) hasn’t played since March 22. After suffering a foot injury, the Cholet Basket center was forced to stop mid-season while averaging 11.6 points and 4.9 rebounds. Nathan De Sousa also returning

As playoffs approach, Cholet hopes to count on their starting center again. Present at training this week, Bastien Vautier seems ready to return to competition, though his coach Fabrice Lefrançois remained cautious: « There’s a good chance he’ll play. He’s an additional tool for us, especially in the post game, » he told Ouest-France.

Since his injury during a game against La Rochelle, Vautier has missed several crucial matches, including the two-leg semifinal against PAOK Thessaloniki in the FIBA Europe Cup. A return this weekend would not only allow Cholet to approach the season’s end in better conditions but also help the player regain rhythm before the playoffs.

Another expected return is Nathan De Sousa (6’2″, 22 years old). Absent during the last game against ASVEL, the shooting guard should also be fit to play on Saturday.
