Amine Noua (2.02m, 28 years old) could return to EuroLeague courts. According to Encestando, the 28-year-old French international has drawn interest from two Spanish league powerhouses: FC Barcelona and Baskonia. This represents a serious opportunity for the former ASVEL and Fenerbahçe player, following a successful season in Granada.

After being released from his contract with a Japanese team he had just joined, Amine Noua is on the market. According to journalist Javier Maestro (Encestando), the French power forward is on the radar of FC Barcelona and Baskonia, both looking for non-EU players at a reasonable cost.
In Baskonia’s case, discussions are reportedly already underway. The Basque club recently signed another Frenchman, Clément Frisch, and still has Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot on their roster. If Noua were to sign in Vitoria, he would strengthen a power forward rotation with varied profiles, where Tadas Sedekerskis and Frisch can also play at the small forward position.
For Barça, the interest in Noua comes particularly after failing to sign Yoan Makoundou, whom Monaco decided to keep. The Catalan club could thus turn to another French power forward, especially since Noua already has EuroLeague experience, albeit limited, with ASVEL and Fenerbahçe.
During the 2024-2025 season, Amine Noua stood out in Liga Endesa wearing Granada’s jersey. Despite the club’s relegation to the second division, the former Villeurbanne player posted solid statistics with averages of 16 points and 6.5 rebounds.
At 28 years old, the long-time ASVEL-trained player is looking for a new challenge. The option of returning to EuroLeague with a stable and competitive club could represent a turning point in his career. It remains to be seen whether Barcelona or Vitoria will materialize this interest in the coming days.
