Alongside Diallo, Souley Boum (former Limoges player) was also valuable, recording 14 points on 5/13 shooting and 9 assists in 35 minutes. His ability to create for his teammates brought balance to the Guinean team, coached by Neno Asceric.
Guinea will play their second group game on Thursday against the host country, Angola, where Kevin Kokila plays. A match that could already be decisive for the rest of the competition.
