After Nadir Hifi, another player extended by Paris Basketball?

Daulton Hommes (2.04m, 29 years old), Paris Basketball’s American power forward, is in advanced talks to stay with the club next season, according to BasketNews. Despite a 2024-2025 season shortened by injuries, the 2.04m player showed encouraging signs at the end of the season, contributing to Paris’s Betclic ELITE championship. He would join an already well-stocked power forward position as Amath Mbaye, Derek Willis, and Allan Dokossi have signed during this offseason, joining Léopold Cavalière (under contract).

A Useful Role in the Final Sprint
Slowed by physical issues, Daulton Hommes only played 10 Betclic ELITE games (averaging 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds) and 6 EuroLeague matches (4.3 points, 2 rebounds). However, he showed up at the best moment. Back in time for the finals against Monaco, he averaged 6.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1 assist in 12 minutes of play. Two performances particularly stood out: 10 points and 4 rebounds in Game 2, then 9 points and 4 rebounds in Game 4.
A Complete Profile for Paris’s Rotation
Known for his reliable outside shooting and physical impact, Hommes also shined in EuroLeague during the victory against Bayern Munich with 12 points. Having played for several European clubs, he has already spent two seasons in EuroLeague, averaging 6.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 19 minutes per game.
At 29, the former Point Loma University player hopes to turn the page on physical setbacks. His goal? To establish himself in Paris and become a key element in new coach Francesco Tabellini’s rotation, both in Betclic ELITE and EuroLeague.
