A problem « in the heart area » detected for Talis Soulhac, out for several weeks

While the 2025-2026 Elite 2 season hasn’t started yet, ADA Blois will have to manage without their young point guard Talis Soulhac (6’1″, turning 19 soon). The return-to-play medical examination revealed an issue requiring additional tests and ultimately a medical intervention according to La Nouvelle République.
« The medical examination detected something in the heart area that required additional investigation, » explained Julien Monclar, the club’s general manager, Friday evening before the preseason game against Poitiers.
« Things have been done properly »
Fortunately, the news is reassuring for the player, who participated in the U19 World Cup with the French national team this summer. « We now know that things have been done and done properly for Talis’s health, and that’s the most important thing, » insisted Julien Monclar, confirming that the operation resolved the issue.
The Blois point guard must now observe a « significant » recovery period before returning to the court. « We’ll see him this season, from what we know, fairly quickly. Now, exactly when, that remains to be determined, » added the general manager.
Medical replacement option on the table
While waiting for his return, ADA Blois might consider recruiting a medical replacement to strengthen their roster and compensate for the young point guard’s absence.
