Yasmin Mambo targeted by ADA Blois

While waiting to know their fate after the promotion playoffs, ADA Blois is preparing two versions of their roster for next season. In one of the two scenarios – either promotion to Betclic ELITE or staying in Pro B – the Loir-et-Cher club could bet on Yasmin Mambo (2.05 m, 22 years old), a center showing great progress at Rouen.
Yasmin Mambo, a powerful profile for Blois’ paint
At 23, Yasmin Mambo has taken his time climbing the ranks of French basketball. Trained in the bustling atmosphere of Beaublanc with CSP Limoges’ Espoirs team – with whom he reached the Trophy of the Future final – the Fribourg (Switzerland) native continued his development in Nationale 1 at Pont-de-Chéruy before joining Rouen Métropole Basket in 2023.
In Sylvain Delorme’s high-intensity collective, where responsibilities are shared, Yasmin Mambo has managed to carve out his place. Over the 37 games he played this season, he averaged 8.1 points on 47.7% shooting, 4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 22 minutes per game. An interesting output, especially as he often proved valuable in the post game, with his power and left-handed hook shot.
If Blois were to earn their ticket to Betclic ELITE or remain a dominant Pro B club, the Swiss big man could bring welcome physical density in the paint. The Blois club, which remains ambitious regardless of their future division, is thus anticipating different scenarios to be ready for effective reinforcement.
