Williams Narace (2.00 m, 28 years old), a forward trained at Nancyβs youth academy who just completed his fifth consecutive season at Le Mans. This season in Betclic ELITE, he averaged 7.4 points on 42.2% shooting, 3.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 19 minutes per game. Consistent statistics, complemented by an impressive Leaders Cup campaign where he shined with 17.7 points and 6 rebounds per game over three matches, ultimately winning the trophy.
Known for his consistency and defensive impact, Williams Narace arrives in Dijon with the promise of a major role in the roster. « Having Williams Narace for the next two seasons is a real satisfaction,Β Β» says Fabien Romeyer, JDAβs sporting director in the clubβs press release. « An impactful power forward, loyal to his clubs and coming off a successful season with Le Mans, Williams has shown incredible consistency for five years.Β Β»
Fabien Romeyer also emphasizes his ability to impact games through his activity: « He will bring us toughness, real defensive value and his rebounding qualities. With his profile perfectly matching JDAβs identity, Williams will position himself as one of the leaders of our frontcourt.Β Β»
A return to increased responsibilities?
Having averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds during his early years at Le Mans, Narace will have the opportunity to return to this level of production in Dijon. With a roster under reconstruction, JDA seems to want to give him a more central role than the one he had this season in Sarthe. An energetic player, appreciated for his commitment, Narace could be one of the key figures in JDA Dijonβs 2025-2026 project.
