Trevor Hudgins is turning the page on France. After three seasons with Le Mans Sarthe Basket, the American point guard has reportedly signed with PAOK, the Greek club set to compete in the EuroCup in 2026-2027, according to EuroHoops. A departure that marks the end of a great chapter between the player and MSB.

PAOK Strengthening Seriously for the EuroCup

The Thessaloniki club is making no secret of its ambitions for the 2026-2027 season. Before signing Hudgins, PAOK had already confirmed the arrivals of RaiQuan Gray, Kyle Alexander, and Marcus Foster — a bold and ambitious recruitment strategy.

Trevor Hudgins fits perfectly into this project. A scoring point guard, he launched his European career mid-season in 2023-2024 after shining in NCAA Division II and the G-League. He also had an NBA stint with the Houston Rockets (1.8 points and 0.6 assists in 5 games), having been one of the standout players for their affiliate team, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

One of the Best Players in Betclic ELITE Last Season

At Le Mans, after half a season getting up to speed under Elric Delord, Trevor Hudgins established himself as one of the most dangerous guards in the French league under Guillaume Vizade. After a breakout 2024-2025 season — during which he won the Leaders Cup MVP award in Caen — this notoriously clutch player re-signed with MSB, where he felt at home. In 2025-2026, the Manhattan, Kansas native averaged 15.6 points and 3.8 assists per game in Betclic ELITE. With him, MSB reached the finals of the Super Cup, the Leaders Cup, and the French Cup. However, the run ended in the Betclic ELITE playoff quarterfinals and in the Top 16 of the Basketball Champions League (BCL).

In the BCL specifically, the former Northwest Missouri State University standout was equally impressive, averaging 15 points and 5.3 assists per game — performances that clearly convinced PAOK to bet on him to reach the next level.

His departure leaves a significant void in the Le Mans roster, which will need to find a player capable of carrying the same offensive load. For Hudgins, however, this signing represents a great opportunity to climb further up the ladder of European elite basketball in a top-tier competition.

It is also worth noting that former Cholet player Cleveland Melvin has left Thessaloniki, creating space in PAOK‘s roster.
