Théo Rey joins STB Le Havre

After Cédric Bah and Marc Gosselin, STB Le Havre has announced its third summer signing in Theo Rey (1.91m, 25 years old). The shooting guard, who played for Avignon-Le Pontet last season, arrives in Normandy to bring his offensive qualities and physical impact.
A complete profile for Nationale 1
Coming from Avignon-Le Pontet, where he averaged 11.2 points, 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in 2024-2025, Théo Rey will discover a new ambitious project with STB Le Havre. After coming through Bourg-en-Bresse’s youth academy, he started his professional career at Gries in Pro B, before playing for LyonSO for two seasons (averaging 11.2 then 6.6 points), followed by stints at Loon-Plage and Avignon-Le Pontet in Nationale 1.
« He’s a complete offensive player, capable of scoring and who will also bring his physical presence defensively, » commented Lauriane Dolt, STB’s coach, on the club’s social media.
STB strengthens its roster with ambition
With this new signing, the Norman club now has eight players under contract for next season. Besides the arrivals of Cédric Bah and Marc Gosselin, Mangin, Bassoumba and Momar Ndoye are still tied to the club, while Cayol and Desseignet recently extended their stay in Le Havre.
Already familiar with the NM1 level, Théo Rey comes to strengthen the perimeter of a team with high aspirations. Known for his 3-point shooting and offensive versatility, he represents a key addition to STB’s ambitions.
