The 2025 NBA Summer League revealed its true stars, and they weren’t necessarily the expected ones. While eyes were on Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper and Bronny James, other players shone statistically to earn a spot in the All-Summer League teams.

Kyle Filipowski dominates the competition with the Jazz

Utah Jazz big man Kyle Filipowski (6’11 », 250 lbs) literally exploded during his three games in Las Vegas. The sophomore, selected in the second round of the 2024 draft, averaged 29.3 points per game, the best in the competition, along with 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

His offensive efficiency was remarkable: 56.1% from the field, 39.1% from 3-point range on 7.7 attempts per game. His performances include a 35-point, 11-rebound game, and another with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. This dominance was so evident that the Jazz pulled him from competition after only three games.

Ron Holland II (Pistons) completes this first team with 21.7 points per game and an impressive 52.8/46.7/76.9 shooting split. « It was incredible. I had an excellent summer, » Holland told Pistons.com. « I worked a lot in the gym with Fred (Vinson) and Jarrett Jack, watched a lot of Cade (Cunningham) film to understand the game’s rhythm. »

Terrence Shannon Jr. (Timberwolves) also stood out with 22.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in less than 30 minutes per game. Tim Connelly, Wolves’ President of Basketball Operations, praised his progress: « We believe he has the ability to be an elite two-way player. His tenacity, approach to the game, and work ethic are exceptional. »

A strong second team led by Nique Clifford

The second All-Summer League team includes Nique Clifford (Kings), who posted complete stats with 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.8 blocks, while shooting 58.3% and 52.9% from 3-point range.

David Jones-Garcia (Spurs) shined with 21.3 points per game in Las Vegas on an excellent 51.7/50/90 shooting split. Ajay Mitchell (Thunder), KJ Simpson (Hornets) and A.J. Lawson (Raptors) complete this selection thanks to their versatile performances and impact on their respective teams.
