Shavon Shields, the choice has been made: goodbye to Olimpia Milano, signing with Fenerbahçe Beko Istanbul

Shavon Shields accepts the offer from Fenerbahçe Beko Istanbul.

The Danish forward is leaving Olimpia Milano and will play for the Turkish club for the next two seasons. The former Olimpia Milano forward has signed a two-year contract.

There were numerous offers for Shields, but in the end, it was Fenerbahçe.

Shavon Shields began his professional career in Europe after starring at the University of Nebraska. He first made his mark with Frankfurt Skyliners in Germany before enjoying successful spells with Trento and Virtus Bologna in Italy. In 2020, he joined Olimpia Milano, where he became one of the team’s leaders, helping the club win multiple Italian League and Italian Cup titles while establishing himself as one of the EuroLeague’s top two-way forwards. Known for his versatility, scoring ability, and defensive impact, Shields has also represented the Danish national team throughout his international career.
