The Toronto Raptors made NBA history tonight by achieving an unprecedented feat. Against the Orlando Magic, Darko Rajakovic’s team went on a phenomenal 31-0 run, never seen before since this statistic has been recorded.
A Historic Sequence That Changed Everything
Trailing 20-14 with 5 minutes and 30 seconds remaining in the first quarter, the Raptors completely turned the situation around. They hit shot after shot for nearly 8 minutes without allowing a single point to their opponents, transforming a 6-point deficit into a comfortable 45-20 lead.
This record sequence began after a basket by Paolo Banchero with 5 minutes and 30 seconds left in the first quarter. The Magic didn’t score again until Banchero found the target once more with 9 minutes and 42 seconds remaining in the second quarter.

Barrett and Barnes Lead the Offensive Charge
R.J. Barrett was particularly effective with 24 points, while Scottie Barnes delivered a complete performance with 23 points and a career-high 15 assists. This 139-87 victory, the largest of the season for Toronto, allows the Raptors to maintain their fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
For Orlando, the evening turned into a nightmare. After stopping a six-game losing streak Thursday against Sacramento, the Magic collapsed against the Raptors’ intensity. The Florida team lost 28 turnovers, giving up 37 points to the Raptors, and only converted 31 total attempts.
This seventh loss in their last eight games confirms Orlando’s current struggles, completely overwhelmed by Toronto’s defensive intensity during this catastrophic first quarter where they lost 12 turnovers, giving up 14 easy points to their opponents.
