Marcus Hammond officially signs with Poitiers for the 2025-2026 season

Poitiers Basket 86 starts the 2025-2026 season with a depleted roster. For their first official game of the season, this Friday evening in the French Cup against Les Sables d’Olonne, PB86 must do without two players, Marcus Hammond (1.90 m, 25 years old) and Jean Vergez-Pascal (1.88 m, 18 years old).

American guard Marcus Hammond, who joined Poitiers this summer after a season with Rouen, injured his left ankle during practice. Additional examinations will determine the exact duration of his unavailability.
Young Jean Vergez-Pascal is also forced to remain in the infirmary. Suffering from a sprain, he will miss tonight’s game.
