Lester Quinones: stats, last game & news

When Lester Quinones discovered basketball in sixth grade, few could have imagined that this young man from Brentwood would become one of the most promising prospects of his generation. His academic journey reflects an uncommon determination: after Brentwood High School, he transferred to Upper Room Christian School and then to St. Benedict's Preparatory School, where he formed a formidable duo with future NBA player Precious Achiuwa, propelling his team into the national top 10.

His post-graduate year at IMG Academy revealed the full extent of his talent. Averaging 24 points, nine rebounds, and six assists per game, Quinones confirmed his status as a four-star recruit and attracted attention from the most prestigious universities. His multicultural heritage — Dominican, Salvadoran, and American — enriches his vision of the game and shapes his unique character on the court.

At the University of Memphis, the guard faced his first real challenges. Injuries could have derailed his ambitions, but Quinones turned adversity into a driving force. His resilience earned him a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Freshman team, a well-deserved recognition of his immediate impact at the college level.

Known for his exemplary work ethic and offensive versatility, Quinones embodies a new generation of guards capable of excelling in every aspect of the game. His journey, marked by multiple team changes and constant adaptation, has forged a mature player despite his young age. Today, this promising professional basketball talent appears ready to take the next steps in his career with the same determination that has brought him this far.
