Player Profile
After Alexandre Sarr from https://www.be-basketball.com/player/alexandre-sarr and before Noam Nakache, the Marseille prospect Kyllian Michée was recruited very young, at 13, by https://www.be-basketball.com/team/real-madrid from Stade Marseillais Université Club. Born in February 2007 while his father, Charles Michée (former Cholet prospect, who appeared twice in Pro A with Paris), was playing for Salon-de-Provence in https://www.be-basketball.com/league/nm1, the young Marseille native was spotted by the legendary Madrid club during an international U12 tournament in La Roda (Castilla-La Mancha) in June 2019. Selected in the tournament's best five, he led the Frenchy Phenoms team to the final, lost 74-93 against Vilnius, after an impressive win against FC Barcelona (78-67) in the semi-finals. Since then, Kyllian Michée has continued to shine:
- 2021: Spanish U14 Champion (with 12 points in the final)
- 2022: MVP of the Trieste U16 tournament (The point guard notably accumulated 28 points on 9/13 shooting (including 6/8 from 3-point range), 4 rebounds and 3 assists for a 30 efficiency rating in 33 minutes against Italy's Orange Bassano)
- 2023: participation in the U16 Euro (stats: 4.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 14.8 minutes)
- January 2024: winner of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament (ANGT)
- May 2024: pre-selected by FFBB for the U17 World Cup to be held from June 29 to July 7 in Turkey
- May 2024: (again) winner of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament (ANGT) with Real Madrid
