Paris Basketball strikes hard at OAKA and defeats Panathinaikos
Paris Basketball keeps its strong EuroLeague run going. Already a winner in Athens last season, the French club did it again on the legendary OAKA floor, handing Panathinaikos a third straight loss. Over the past month, Francesco Tabellini’s group has taken down Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and now Pana.
Paris Basketball strikes again in Athens
In control for most of the night, Paris led by as many as 17 in the fourth quarter (91–74, 33’). Even as the Greeks made a late push, the capital’s team held its ground in money time.
Francesco Tabellini’s decision to put the ball in Justin Robinson’s hands proved decisive. The point guard knocked down a huge three, then added three free throws to seal it (13 points, 7 assists).
Nadir Hifi led the way for Paris with 20 points and 5 assists (21 efficiency). Lamar Stevens and Jeremy Morgan each added 14, while Léo Cavaliere chipped in 10 key points.
Panathinaikos’ late comeback insufficient
Down 15 with four minutes to play, Panathinaikos nearly flipped the game. Nigel Hayes-Davis (2.03m, 31 years old), making his EuroLeague debut with the Greek club, caught fire for 27 points. After trimming a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit down to just two (99–101), the home side even had the ball with a chance to take the lead.
But Hayes-Davis missed a potential game-winning three with 2.6 seconds left, then committed an unsportsmanlike foul on Robinson. Ergin Ataman was immediately ejected for protesting, and Paris iced the game at the free-throw line.

Kenneth Faried (17 points, 5 rebounds), former Paris guard T.J. Shorts (14 points, 8 assists), Cedi Osman (12 points), and Nikos Rogkavopoulos (10 points, 8 rebounds) did what they could to keep things afloat. Kendrick Nunn was out due to illness.
With the 104–99 win, Paris Basketball (10–18) continues to build momentum heading into the final 10 rounds. For Panathinaikos, fresh off a Greek Cup title, the pressure is rising with the playoffs still in question. Like Monaco, which fell to Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Greek side now sits at 16–13.
