Clément Frisch (6’7″, 23) is taking a major step in his career. After an impressive season with SLUC Nancy, the French small forward/power forward will make his EuroLeague debut with Baskonia, the Vitoria-Gasteiz club, who has signed him until 2028.
A EuroLeague first for Clément Frisch
The announcement was made officially this Wednesday by the Basque club: « The promising French forward arrives in Vitoria-Gasteiz to wear the blue and garnet until 2028 » reads the statement. Baskonia is thus making a long-term investment in Clément Frisch, who is coming off a breakthrough season in Betclic ELITE with SLUC Nancy.
Named Most Improved Player in the French championship, the former SIG Strasbourg youth academy player averaged 11.7 points, 5 rebounds and 2.1 assists for a 14.5 efficiency rating, with an excellent 43.2% three-point shooting. His performances earned him national recognition and caught the attention of European scouts.
Having played for France’s youth national teams, he will discover the highly competitive Liga Endesa and especially the EuroLeague this fall, where he will have to prove himself in a team known for its demanding standards and competitiveness.
