Powell was injured in the first half of Miami‘s loss in Philadelphia. An MRI confirmed a Grade 1 strain, which is low severity, and the Heat indicated that the player’s status is now classified as « week-to-week. »

This absence represents a significant blow for Miami, as Powell is the team’s leading scorer this season with an average of 22.5 points per game.
